Serial Number

A serial number is a general term we use for item number indication. It might also be called a series, model, date or article code.

It is usually a label, printing or a stamp found on the inside of the item. In clothing items, this code is displayed in one of the care label pages.

Typically found in bags, wallets, accessories, jewelry, glasses and clothing items.

We want to inspect not only the code but also the text formatting. This is why a really clear photo is needed, since in some items the code is hidden away. 

Make sure that the code is clearly visible in the photo, we must be able to read it easily. If the code is displayed in a label, flatten the label. If the code is a "hidden out" stamp, you might find it useful to ask another person to help you with this, as it's important to open up the item to take a clear photo.
